We have just completed an eight and a half year circumnavigation in her and have found her a fast, solid, dependable easily sailed and forgiving design. Comfortable in all climates from the tropics to the rigours of an Irish winter. The large cockpit and extra room provided by the well designed hard dodger, made her the focus of many social evenings, the record being 16 people at one time. The storage facilities provided more than enough room for all we needed for a full time life aboard. The large aft cabin bed was a blessing in the tropics. We sailed in company with a wide range of boats and made similar passage times to boats as fast as Bavarian 47 and a 50 foot cruising Catamarans. For example our passage time for the 3000nm crossing from Galapagos to the Marquises in French Polynesia was 18 days.
