This is a standard GRP Top Hat mk3, 25 ft 1983 long keel cruising yacht. She has a single mast and boom, which are supported by stainless steel rigging. The yacht is in very good condition commensurate with her age. In 2003 she was upgraded with new spars and standing and running rigging. She is fundamentally sound and is designed for day/night coastal cruising. The standing rigging was replaced and upgraded in 2003, together with the new powder-coated mast and boom. There is now, single line reefing (2 reefs in boom leading back to the coach-roof at the cockpit with winches and clutches). New jackstay + running backstays. There is a new Profurl B29S to the jibsail/genoa (luff recut and altered) on 7/32” G316 1x19 SS wire. All other standing rigging and lifelines were replaced with 5/32” G316 7x7 SS wire. Running rigging was also replaced. New headsail winches. A swinging mooring is available ($143.00/pa) |
